friday night remix : chiffon dress & mr. mustard

This chiffon dress is one of my favorite treasures!
I love the material and the crochet details of this dress.

The first photo was taken last January 2011, when I went to a
breakfast date, Feeling a bit girly so I decided to wear the dress as
it is.The second photo was taken last March 2011, I remember some of my
schoolmates gave me this odd stare as I walk on the corridor with
these clogs. Si Marimar ang peg ng clogs ko eh, bakit ba? haha :)

The bag is also one of my favorite, I named it Mr. Mustard and I got
it from Egg. I overused this bag since January 2011 until one day,
Mr. Mustard gave up on me. I miss using this bag but I understand
that it's time for Mr. Mustard to take a rest.

friday night remix : floral skirt

2 years ago, I started my blog in Chictopia, as much as I want to post
as many outfit as I can, my closet can't keep up so I mix and match most
of my clothes. Yesterday, after browsing my archives in Chictopia,
an idea for a new segment here on my blog was born..
     it's Friday Night Remix!!!

To start it off, here's my old outfit wearing  a floral skirt
that I found from a thrift shop in Taft Avenue.
I got it for 50 pesos! how cheap isn't it? :)

wore the first outfit during a friend's debut last 2009.
The second outfit was taken last December 2010.
(just click the links for more outfit deets!)

I can't wait to post my new outfit remix here!
Till next Friday lovely bees :)

Miss Brown

I know you're sick of this pink and white striped wall of my room (me too)
but please bear with me lovely bees, I'm currently single so there's no
"ze boy" to take my outfit photos, I don't want to be a burden to my friends
whenever they have to take my photos, and my mom doesn't know
how to use my camera so I'm stuck with my tripod and
self-timer mode of my camera.

Maybe I should buy a small tripod, gather all the courage that I have,
and be brave enough to do this "self-timer outfit photos" out side
or teach my mom how to use my camera.
I guess the latter one is the best option. haha :)

there's nothing wrong with my boots

If I'm still a student, I would probably wear my military boots everyday
this season. What I love about this rainy season is that you can wear tights,
boots, or layer your clothes all the way you want without getting those
head-to-toe stare from the people who think that wearing a pair of boots here
in Manila is acriminal offense specially if you're a commuter like me.
Sometimes I often imagine that some people say
"Anong eksena nitong babaeng to? boots sa jeep / mrt? Seryoso ka teh?"
Well, I just want to take advantage of the weather. Commuters may laugh at my
boots or at me but I don't care. As long as I'm comfortable on what I wear.
Kanya kanyang ganap yan. haha :)

p.s I hate the harsh shadow on my photos, I really need a reflector
but for the meantime, I'm gonna use my full body mirror as a reflector
when taking outfit shots by myself. haha :)

right under my feet

I tried to squeeze some photos of what I wore on our visit to the Puerto Princesa
Underground River tour. It's more than an hour drive from our hotel and about 25 mins.
boat ride from the Sabang Pier so I opted for the most comfortable outfit that I can think
of and I found myself wearing this uber comfortable outfit. Pambahay lang ang peg. haha :)
I'm in love with this super yellow sling bag, it really uplifts my "pambahay" outfit. hehe :)
